Bishop Frederick M. Jackson, Sr. is an extraordinary and gifted leader who serves as the Senior Pastor of the True Foundation Full Gospel Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana. With a powerful anointing and captivating presence, Bishop Jackson has become a highly sought-after preacher, teacher, and featured speaker for numerous churches, leadership programs, and development initiatives. In 2016, Bishop Jackson and True Foundation Ministries joyfully commemorated 32 years of dedicated service in the name of God. As a steadfast advocate, Bishop Jackson has been proclaiming the gospel for an impressive span of 32 years.
In 1992, Bishop Jackson and True Foundation Church aligned themselves with The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, guided by the remarkable leadership of Presiding Bishop, Bishop Paul S. Morton. Recognizing Bishop Jackson's exceptional devotion and capabilities, he was appointed as a State Overseer and later elevated to the esteemed office of Bishop in June 2012. Presently, he serves as the esteemed State Bishop of Indiana, under the wise direction of the Presiding Bishop, Bishop Joseph Walker III.
Bishop Jackson has been honored with a multitude of awards and accolades throughout his illustrious career. Notable among these distinctions are the Outstanding Young Men of America Award, the esteemed Saint Joseph College Presidential Citation of Merit Award, and his position as a valued board member of the John Thompson Boys and Girls Club in Gary, Indiana. Additionally, as a member of the esteemed Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Bishop Jackson finds joy in activities such as jogging, watching movies, reading, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise.
Beyond his remarkable achievements, Bishop Jackson derives immense pride and joy from his role as a father. He is blessed with three wonderful sons, Kristian, Kylan, and Freddie Jr. Furthermore, Bishop Jackson relishes the presence of his two beautiful granddaughters, Laila and Hannah, and grandsons Kristian Jr. and Kylan Jr. as well as his cherished two daughters-in-law, Karrisa and Jasmine.
